CLOSE TO THE BODY, is a project research that explores the emergent space that offers the technology smart textile to investigate on the dynamic relations between the body, the textile and the surroundings. Recognise the textile how an intimate and central element in our daily life, entirely interconnected with our identity and conscious and unaware behaviour. Show a sensitivity to the interaction embodied, recognises the importance of the posture and the movement, and appreciates the prospect in first person. An exercise that confronts the functionalities to integrate the worlds of the electronic, the fashionable design and the manufacture.
